74HC132 is a quad 2-input Schmitt trigger integrated circuit that is commonly used for signal conditioning and noise filtering. The Schmitt trigger input ensures that the IC’s output switches cleanly and reliably in response to changes in the input signal.
The 74HC132 contains four independent gates each of which performs the logic NAND function. Each input has hysteresis which increases the noise immunity and transforms a slowly changing input signal to a fast-changing, jitter-free output.
